About UnifiedFlow
Better technology for the way neuroscience works.
We help neuroscience labs plan, build, and improve the technology behind their research. UnifiedFlow brings together research software, consulting, and hands-on engineering to address today’s bottlenecks and prepare for what comes next.
Why we’re building UnifiedFlowInfrastructure for Evidence
A result should be
possible to explain.
Too much research time goes into rebuilding an analysis, tracing an undocumented decision, or keeping disconnected tools working. We’re building UnifiedFlow so teams can spend more of that effort on the questions they set out to answer.
Retaining the source data references, methods, settings, and review decisions gives researchers a clearer starting point when they revisit a result or someone new continues the work.
How we connect the research recordNeuroscience first
Start with the science.
Build for the whole lab.
Our software starts with calcium imaging and fiber photometry, where processing choices, researcher review, and the ability to revisit an analysis matter.
Explore our research capabilitiesThe analysis is part of a larger system: instruments, software, storage, and the people using them. We work across those connections to help labs choose suitable tools, design better services, and put new capabilities into practice.
That can mean a focused software project, a data science or automation initiative, or ongoing advice and engineering as the lab evolves. We can work with your existing systems, whether or not you adopt the UnifiedFlow platform.
How we work with labsOur founder
Jon Senterfitt
Founder, UnifiedFlow
Founded in 2026
Gainesville, Florida
Jon brings experience building and delivering software, with an understanding of the systems and methodologies that make it useful in practice.
His approach starts with how the work actually happens: the people, processes, and technical decisions behind it. That systems perspective connects the vision for UnifiedFlow to the practical work of designing, delivering, and maintaining software that a lab can build on.
Jon is building UnifiedFlow around a continuing partnership with researchers. Their scientific judgment shapes what the analysis needs to do. His focus is on turning those needs into working systems and making room for improvement as the research evolves.
